Whatever the weather....

Gotta love spring in NZ!

Clouds raining

Saturday was fine, a bit windy and we had to move inside to avoid sunburn.

Sunday it rained. And rained. And rained.

Monday it was cold and rainy. Cold. It was snowing on the ranges.

Today the rain has stopped and we can see the snow on the hills. There is a piercing cold wind that goes straight through you and feels like it comes directly from Antartica. So the horses are still in their 200 gram fill rugs and have had hay to keep them warm.

The forecast is for a grandaddy frost on Thursday morning - that is one way to reduce the grape harvest for next year!!! I am not looking forward to that.

This is sort of what the ranges look like today.
Only, more snow, and this is supposedly spring!
