"Hi Sharon
Just a quick note to let you know that Penny has settled in really well. We have got her where she can get into the shade of the she oaks and she spent the middle of the day dozing in the shade. The girls rode her tonight - just walking and trotting and she was great. Even B. trotted her which was great to see!!
Thanks once again
S, B and K"
Well, I know better now than to rely on a man!
Isn't that nice? It certainly made my day and helped me to realise that I have done a good thing for Possum and those girls. I know if I were a teenager getting a new horse, I would certainly want it there for Christmas Day. There were many, many years when I rushed out on Christmas morning to see if finally Father Christmas had got me what I really wanted.

Man that was quick! Still if you can find a job for her that she enjoys doing and she can bring some joy to the girls lives, thats awesome. I think that the horses that are confidence builders and give people love of riding are the most special horses there are
ReplyDeleteOh how cool to hear that the girls are enjoying her
ReplyDeleteYep, Beckz, incredibly fast once it started to happen. But then I had been kicking this idea around since August. I was just really lucky to find a good home for her. Maybe this has all happened for a reason? Here's hoping it all works out okay.
ReplyDeleteSally - just seen Trix's ad on Trade Me. I didn't know she was so well bred. Will see if I can catch up with you when I'm in the Naki.
